Market 8 is one of the top agencies in the world that creates designs specifically geared towards inbound marketing, and mainly focuses on mid-size b2b companies, in the Technology, Finance, Consulting and Manufacturing industries. But focusing so much on our clients means we have little time to focus on our socialization and we feel a bit like mushrooms.
That’s where you come in. We need your skills to nurture our online presence on social media channels.
Forward thinking social media skills - You must be up-to-date on how social media is being used for B2B companies, all the latest tricks and trends, and more stuff we don’t know about yet.
Self-motivated learner - At Market 8, we’re all about curiosity and the desire to learn. We want our team to be up to speed with all the latest advancements in the field, and encourage members to sign up for courses to better enhance their skill sets.
Crazy about Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Google Plus, Quorra, Digg, and most importantly, interacting with people on them.
Creativity - Writing is one thing. Writing catchy social media posts is something else. You have to be familiar with the different writing requirements of the different social media channels and know how to use them to your advantage.
Passion - We want social media managers who love and take pride in what they do. Creating stuff from nothing is always a brilliant feat, and we want our team to have that drive and enthusiasm from the get-go.

Interacting with our ever-growing online community utilizing the HubSpot social media platform to monitor and segment our audience.
Observe, interact and learn from our audience on social media and feedback with possible topics for our research team to write about.
Create relationships Market 8 clients and prospects who are social media active, retweeting some relevant content from our prospects and clients (when it makes sense)
Identify and build relationships with key influencers and thought leaders that can help us amplify our message.
Keep the pulse on what’s going on in the industry and spread the word.
Grow our blog subscriber base
You have some design skills to create shareable cards and can use software to create infographics.
Through your interactions, identify good candidates to fill other open positions in the company.

Personal blogging experience
Familiarity with the planning, design, and creation of social accounts and micro-sites

You have heard of / have had experience with HubSpot
You love B2B, specially software & technology, startups, consulting, and manufacturing firms.
You have a feel for what it takes to drive traffic to a site and can create relationships with other key thought leaders to drive traffic to our site.
